At MyRNA Diagnostics, we believe that meaningful healthcare innovation happens when science, clinical expertise and industry come together with a shared purpose.

This belief recently took an important step forward through our strategic collaboration with IMU University, formalised through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Service Agreement on 29 June 2026.

While the signing marked an important milestone, it also reflected a shared commitment to strengthening molecular diagnostics, supporting scientific research and developing the talent needed to advance early cancer detection in Malaysia.


Building a Shared Vision

Since our establishment, MyRNA Diagnostics has been driven by a clear ambition—to build Malaysia's early cancer detection platform anchored on molecular diagnostics, microRNA technology and, ultimately, broader multi-omic diagnostic capabilities.

Achieving this vision requires more than innovative technology. It requires strong partnerships that connect research with real-world healthcare, ensuring scientific discoveries can ultimately benefit patients.

Our collaboration with IMU University is an important step in that journey.


As shared by our General Manager, Dr Mohd Helmi Zakariah, during the signing ceremony:

Supporting High-Quality Diagnostic Operations

The Service Agreement also formalises IMU University's role as MyRNA Diagnostics' diagnostic partner in supporting important pre-analytical laboratory processes, including sample receipt, sample pre-processing, packaging, documentation and quality assurance before downstream molecular analysis.

Although these processes often happen behind the scenes, they play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of molecular diagnostic testing.
