From 12–14 June 2026, MyRNA participated in the Malaysian Medical Association Congress (MMAC) 2026, held at the Royal Chulan Kuala Lumpur. Organised by the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA), the annual congress is one of Malaysia's premier medical conferences, bringing together healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss emerging advancements, clinical innovations, and the future of healthcare delivery.

The congress provides an important platform for knowledge exchange and strategic collaboration, fostering partnerships that drive improvements in patient care, preventive medicine, and healthcare innovation. As molecular diagnostics continues to play an increasingly significant role in precision medicine, MMAC serves as an ideal venue for showcasing technologies that support earlier disease detection and improved clinical outcomes.

During the congress, MyRNA had the privilege of briefing YBhg. Datuk Dr. Mahathar bin Abd Wahab, Director-General of Health Malaysia, on the company's ongoing efforts to advance early cancer detection through innovative microRNA-based diagnostic technologies.

The discussion centred on the clinical applications of LUNGClear and GASTROClear, MyRNA's proprietary blood-based molecular screening solutions designed to support the early identification of individuals at risk of lung and gastric cancers. The engagement highlighted the growing importance of minimally invasive molecular diagnostics in complementing existing clinical pathways and enabling timely intervention before diseases progress to advanced stages.

MyRNA also shared its vision of expanding access to innovative screening technologies across both public and private healthcare settings. In particular, discussions explored the role of LUNGClear™ in supporting the implementation of the National Lung Health Initiative, with the aim of strengthening nationwide efforts in lung cancer awareness, risk assessment, and early detection.

The engagement reflects MyRNA's continued commitment to working alongside the Ministry of Health, healthcare institutions, professional medical bodies, and industry stakeholders in advancing preventive healthcare through precision diagnostics. By leveraging cutting-edge microRNA technology, MyRNA seeks to contribute to Malaysia's healthcare transformation agenda by improving access to early detection, enhancing screening strategies, and ultimately delivering better patient outcomes.

MyRNA extends its sincere appreciation to the Malaysian Medical Association for organising another successful congress and to all healthcare professionals and stakeholders who visited the MyRNA exhibition booth. The company remains committed to driving innovation in molecular diagnostics and fostering collaborations that support a healthier future through earlier cancer detection and preventive healthcare.
